Kibbie Reunion June 2008 Ensign Ranch

So here we are all 40 something of us hanging out for a week at the Ensign Lodge. We had a great time playing cards, being silly and sliding on the gigantic slip and slide. I think I did the slip and slide more than my kids!! Here are some pictures of the fun we had...

Gwen hanging out in a box...

The night of our "talent" show. Here are the guys playing "What Kibbie girl is it" Since there are 8 sister who all sound very similar it was too hard for the parents so the husbands gave it a try. They did very well compared to Mom and Dad.

The girls laughing at the guys!

Homeschool Field trip Davinci

In June we took a field trip with our homeschool buddies to an amazing exhibit on Davinci. They took all his ideas and made them into models, displayed some of his art work and showed how many of his ideas are used today. It was so fun for the kids because many of the models were hands on.

Here's a picture of some of our fun homeschool friends. Myself, Aiden and Gwen are on the right, Robyn and Emma are on the left.

Here's a picture of the kids helping each other put together a "portable" bridge. It's a giant puzzle!

Liz, Jake and Maeve

Every June my good friend Liz brings her kids for the Suzuki Violin camp held at the school behind my house. I used to babysit her kids when they were babies and now they are so grown up! Here's some pictures...

Darth Vader (aka Aiden) turns 6!!!

This year was Aiden's turn to have a kid party, so of course Darth Vader had to be there. He took many forms and different heights but he had a great time slaying the Jedi's even though he took a few hits himself...

Darth Vader wears pink?!?! Only at this party!

Wow there are a lot of Kibbie's...plus a few neighbors...I could try to name them all, but I'm afraid of confusing you...

Thanks for all the presents!!!

Our Garden

Here are some pictures of our postage stamp sized yard at the begining of the gardening season. This year I added 3 grape vines, 3 raspberrie bushes and 16 tomato plants. I just want you to see some before, inbetween and after the garden has grown...

Robyn's Crazy Long Book List...PHEW! It's long!

One morning I was trying to get Robyn to do chores and school with us. Little did I know that she was busy creating a very long book list of books that she wanted to read. She did it all on her own , she definitely got her writing in for the day :)

May and June School

June has been so busy with going out of town and friends in town that I have not had a chance to post what has been going on. So here's a little of what we have been doing as far as school...
Here's a picture of our "dancing dolls" It was an experiment on how magnets work. You make the dolls "dance" by moving a magnet under the paper which attracts the metal paper clips.

Here is Aiden, Emma and Robyn showing off their latest report on the Constitution. The next step in our Early American History Timeline.

This is a picture of the map that Robyn created with the help of the computer of the 13 original colonies.
